We are doing an exegetical verse-by-verse study in the book of Romans. Romans is Paul’s fullest, grandest, and most comprehensive statement of the gospel. All the Reformers saw Romans as the God-given key to understanding Scripture. Here, Paul brings together all the Bible’s greatest themes-sin, law, judgement, human destiny, faith, works, grace, justification, sanctification, pre-destination, elections, the plan of salvation, the work of Christ and of the Holy Spirit, and the nature of the life of the church.
